Hi,
I have applied I-485 in July 2007. My Priority date is May22, 2006 (which is current as per August VISA Bulletin). But I haven't received the Finger Printing notice yet !!
I also went to Local Office but they also couldn't help me.
What I am suppose to do in that case?

Has anyone who filed in June and at NSC recieved any approvals for EAD/AP ?
We see TSC sending all these approvals..!!!

You can use a timer or storyboard to smoothly move the object when a key press is detected. This would be the smoothest approach I think :)

Have we taken in to account these action items
1) Improve Overall GC Process time.
2) Re-use all unused visa's that went in vain in past
3) Count each family as one visa instead of each for each family member.
And What do we need to do as a member of IV to lobby these changes.

Talked to my lawyer today. I am in EB3ROW and my PD is current as of June bulletin. Unfortunately, NSC is not processing my receipt dates yet, so I have not heard anything.
Lawyer said that there is a chance EB3ROW will retrogress in July or become "Unavailable".
Will I be back to the Retrogression line in that case or will USCIS still process? Any idea? Anyone in the same boat?

USCIS has specifically answered a very similar question in 2004. The answer is "A change of status take effect automatically on the effective date noted in the [approval notice], even if there is an intervening admission...."
Your H-1B status should therefore take effect automatically on 10/1/09, assuming it was approved as a change of status.

Such an action would be illegal, but CIS has already stopped accepting I- 485 applications for another category known as "Other Workers," despite June Visa Bulletin showing that category is current. My advice to all of you is keep filing all through the month of July. For all we know, they may never issue such an illegal policy or they might lose a lawsuit filed against them. So keep filing.

My wife is working for US firm on L2 VISA (EAD).
The employer is ready to sponsor her GC. We wanted to know what is the process for L2 candidate , will it be same starting from Labor .... or we can skip labor and make use of current L2 EAD to file I-485 directly ?

Just a thought that as we have seen that the current president is know for taking quick decisions. Is there anyway we can get his attention to our cause. Does White house have a fx no# ? Send him faxes etc. and send to all presidential candidates too like Clinton, Obama to etc.

Can anyone tell me if a PERM is first audited, and then reaudited, which one will be used for the priority date? the first one or the second one? or it does not matter (based on the date when the PERM was first filed)?
