If i apply 485 now and Ead/Ap later after August Bulletin can we avail
Free EAD/AP ?? That will save $350 together !

I mean is that possible - what's this Free EAd/ap deal ?

dont forget july 4th is a holiday..so when they come back on the 5th they will have applications touching the roof.

but from what i am hearing a lot of people are waiting for august bulletin and will apply on july 31st with the higher fees to avail the free ead/ap.

Just wanted to know how should one modify the immigration petition again after divorce and second marriage. Can the second wife name be added to 485 immediately or wait for the PD to become current? And how about EAD?

My EAD is approved for 2 years last week, Today my attorney sent me I-140 reference answered is due by 1st Nov,

I will really appreciate your advise. My I-140 is filed for Accounting analyst.

My PD date is in Dec. 2006

As per Reference:

1) Please provide evidence (in the form of official academic transcript) of any additional education the beneficiary has obtained prior to Dec. 2006

2)The other one is for Company 's ability to pay and for my payroll records after PD to current. (This is not an issue as my firm is financially sound)

My I-140 is filed under skilled category, with 3 years eqiuvalent Bachelors degree, evaluated by degreepeople.

I have additional 2 years certification corses in business adminstration not considered by my attorney.

I will appreciate if some one can provide me better attorney to handle this case.

I know IV members maybe uniformly divided between republicans and democrats. I find republicans views better too with the exception of their views on guns (war and other points).
however my main complaint against republicans is that the hardcore amongst them (esp the talk radio) ..spread hate. (remember to the average american ...legals and illegals look alike !!! ..)
and I agree nothing wrong in biden's remarks ..whereas Palin is a very wrong choice (not that I care much )

If unsure, go with the lease date. No harm informing USCIS earlier. I've changed my address before and trust me...it is a freaking mess. Here's my advice:

1) If you file online, make sure you save yr receipt. If paper file, make sure it is certified/registered mail.

2) 1 to 2 months after filing, schedule an Infopass and ask the officer to verify the updated address.

What I am asking is "what does processing date mean"?
Does it mean that they have started working on my application?
or that the cases on that date have been finalised either by way of approval OR denial ?

I have an MS degree in Materials Science & Engg, but work in IT. My 1st H1 transfer was denied, but the 2nd time it was approved with lesser documentation. Although I feel I am qualified in my capacity, of course I am very Thankful & Grateful (for now, I still have a long ways to go :p) Go figure, that is USCIS!! PM me if I can try help you further. My 140 is Approved from Company A.I haven't filed my 485 yet.
My H1 6 Yr period ends in Mar 2009.I am planning to move to company B and request a 3 yr extn based on my approved 140(with Company A).

My qn is what if company A cancels my 140?
If I get my 3yr H1 extn approved (before 140 cancellation) will my status be valid?

There is no fees for bringing foreign exchange into India. It is applicable to all passengers irrespective of their nationality or purpose of visit to India. However no import of Indian money is allowed by non resident Indians / foreign nationals. Indian residents can bring in up to Rs. 7.500.

My H1 is approved on Oct 23, 2006. I was on F1. Before my OPT grace period expired on July 20, 2006, I enrolled in a school with new I-20 on July 5th, 2006. I have been taking one class every month for last three months to maintain full time status. If I stop taking classes now, would it be a some kind of problem when I go for visa stamping?

I got my GC on 09/18/07. Now my consulting company (how sponsored my GC) is having issues with the client and client is thinking to terminate the contract.

Client want to bring me to there pay roll. In other words they are offering my permanent position.

My consulting company does not have immediate opening for me.

It is not even a month that I got my GC. And I am with the same consulting company for about 6.5 years now.

Please help me. What should I do? If I accept the offer will I get problem at citizenship stage? If I do not accept offer I will loose job and I don't know how much time I have to wait till my consulting company find job for me.
